I downloaded the iPhone app to check that out. The app supports custom port numbers for HTTP. I will highly suggest changing the public facing port to something else. This is called a PAT port. We set that to a random number, lets say 45129. We open the firewall and forward this to port 80. I wouldn't change it on the Apex. Also I would suggest changing any default usernames and passwords on that device (and routers too).

Also if you guys want to get something a bit easier to track. Check into http://www.noip.com or any other free Dynamic DNS Service. You'll be able to have a true domain name and not worry about your ISP changing your public IP address.

You could point your Apex to http://my controller.domain.com:45129

Pretty cool stuff.

Monitoring my programs now. Messing with the temp probe to make sure all my settings are correct.

Absolutely. Josh is the man. Even if he refers to accomplishments in a suggestive weird way.

Seriously though. He was able to troubleshoot and configure everything from his house. Pretty awesome.

I did not get the ORP probe, it just reads whatever it wants apparently. Even if you dont have the temp probe and ph probe hooked up it still gives off some sort of reading.

No need for ORP on my setup.
