Yeah that's not red lol. How much were they asking for it?

I'd like to say you got a steal on the Crocea, but I can remember when Crocea clams of this magnitude were $40... I'm just having troubles adjusting to the new trend in Crocea prices.... That's why I don't have one LOL...

They were asking 99$ for it. It looked red under all blue, under all white it looks like the pic above. The lfs I go to normally for clams has 5-6 inch nice croceas for 60$. I agree it's tough to say I got a good deal, but I almost bought one with lesser colors for 200$ off the divers den plus shipping lol. That's why I consider it a good price.

Haha I'm not saying I don't think you got a deal, which you did! I just don't agree with today's pricing on the Crocea's. It seems that we aren't seeing them much other than farmed Croceas. There used to be a lot of them coming out of Vietnam as well as the gold teardrop Maxima's. I'm thinking Vietnam has had a lot of issues with CITES permits in the past few years and that's the reason for the cost increase on the Crocea's.
