Setting up a new tank. Lifegard 11g long. Just adding newly made saltwater (measured salinity 1.026 with refractometer). Made a custom stand that is only 9 inches deep. Using the Smatfarm light I bought as a backup last year, but didn't like the mount so just mounted it on a wall bracket.

About 6 weeks later or so. New sand, and some corals moved over from my 25G. Picked up a new snail cleanup crew, cleaner shrimp, two rock flowers, and one yellow banded possum wrasse at New England Frag Farmer's Market a couple weeks ago. Also have neon cleaner goby, bangaii cardinal, and a sailfin molly in there now. Still fighting some diatoms.

The yellow/orange sailfin molly had babies about 3 weeks ago. Luckily it was over a weekend and I was able to save about 30-40 of them. Have been growing them out(in 1.026) in a small 0.5 G plastic tank I had laying around. Another week or two to fatten them up and I should be able to transfer them to my 11G tank without them getting eaten. After they grow out there for a bit I can them transfer a couple to my 25G.

Have around 50 saltwater sailfin mollies which are now about 1.5-2" long between my two tanks. Need to start finding new homes for them.
