Mine ripped an emerald apart with some help from a sharp nose

Yeah you just don’t know what tour gonna get with fish just like a cat and dogs. We’ve had to get rid of cats and dogs before because they were terrible.

I blame my Melanurus for the fact that shrimp and emerald crab that get added to my tank vanish. He does do a good job of making sure I don’t have planaria in my display though.

I have a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp in the 240. My melanurus wrasse and the other fish don't bother them. The fire shrimp has been in there 2 years, the cleaner 2 months

The only shrimp I have tried were peppermint. I never saw the Melanurus bother them, but every time I add them I never see them again. He is the most likely suspect.

Those are much smaller when you buy them typically
