New Year in NYC ... need advice pls

Hey y'all,

Will be heading down to NYC right after Christmas and will be spending New Year's Day while over there and hopefully mingle with the New Year's Eve in-crowd at Times Square (if we can find enough space to squeeze in ... uuurggh).

Any cool and interesting LFS and/or public aquariums in New York city, Atlantic city etc.? Would really appreciate the input .... :xd:

Manhattan Aquariums (home of unique corals) 522 W 37th St between 10th and 11th Ave is a can't miss when your in the city...Also, you can take the long island railroad out to Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead to see one of the largest reef tanks in existence

. Is that supposed to be a Good or Bad thing ... :tongue:. In fact we were in NYC & New Jersey in August and just loving' it .. Times Square and all that :neutral:!!

We're definitely gonna be heading to NYC for sure ... it's only a matter of deciding whether to drive or fly over but I sure am all excited about this trip and yeah .. if we can meet up that'd be really great :angel:!!

Just wondering if anyone here works in the hotel industry ... preferably downtown Manhattan accomodation from Dec. 30 until Jan. 1, 2010.

Would really appreciate if you have any "insider" know how to assist us in getting a Suite. Hopefully a great deal and at a reasonable rate too :squigglemouth:!!
