Hi,
. I need some advice. I am very new to buying corals. A few days ago I bought a few from the $10 bin at my lfs. I am concerned about 1 coral imparticular that looked great in the store, but as soon as I put him in my fish tank, it didn't look so good. It is the purple looking one (front row 2nd from the left)

with only 2 polyps extended. Right now I have all of them on a frag rack.

1- can someone help me identify them?
2- can someone give me a few pointers about care and placement?
I would really appreciate any help you can give.
Thank you so much.

Kenny

The purple one is green star polyps. Dont worry about them not opening up, coral can take awhile to adjust sometimes.

The two on the right are called zoanthids which like moderate light and flow. The one on the front left is either a favia or favities coral. Could you give us a pic of the one in the front behind the favia?
