Welcome to the Reef Matt!
We have absolutely nothing in common other than this! LOL, but isn’t that what makes THIS hobby so cool? Brings all sorts together in a shared interest.
You’re in the right place for help and information. Don’t forget to start your build thread. It might not seem important now but you will want to look back on where you started and is of great interest to all other reefers which are rabid vouyers on a new build. :)

Welcome to R2R!

My favorite article for new and old/returning - worth a quick read through Myth #15: http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-01/eb/

I have found myself referencing this article more than any other, not just to anyone new to the hobby. Long-term stability and balance are the keys, and you just can't shortcut the process significantly. That's always the #1 thing to keep in mind!
