I have had my tank for a year now, and I have always wondered what these gelatinous, white globules are. They are mainly only found in my HOB filter. Now I have spotted them on a power head. They almost resemble a maggot.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you guys!

Photos with blue lights on are terrible for any type of identification... best to take pics with white lights.

Possibly pineapple sponges.

It is with white light, but always shows blue through the phone.
Anyhow, with a useful keyword, this is what they appear like. Not so many "crowns' though.
