Newly Fragged Green Sinulara

I recently purchased a really nice medium sized green sinulara from another reefer. I attached it to a piece of live rock using a rubber band. It is split into two branches. The one branch is doing extremely well but the other is limp and laying on the ground. Not sure how to get it to stand up. All of the polyps on it are extended and I would have thought it would have recovered by now. It has only been a week but still concerned. Should I be worried? Any suggestions on how to get the other branch to stand up right?

I would place it in an area of moderate flow and not too much lighting. Place it on a piece or small pile of rock rubble and eventually it will attach itself. Try to wedge it in between the rock rubble to help it stand a bit and give it stability. I think it’s normal for it too act limp for a few weeks after fragging. More than likely, it will also shed. Are you running activated carbon? If not, then I would say that would be a good idea so it can remove the toxins from when they shed. Do you have a pic?
