Has anyone used the NICREW HyperReef Light Controller? I ordered the NICREW 100w for my tank, I noticed when it first came it out NICREW had no control for it. I saw people where using Apex, but I recently saw they now have a controller out, so I figured why not and ordered it. The controller appears allows users to pick 6 change times throughout the day and allows for ramping. I'm very new to aquarium lighting and was wondering if anyone has used this controlled or if anyone has recommendations on good light scheduling. I'd ideally like help with what percentage of blue and white I should be running throughout the day as well ntensity (.I see many people don't run their NICREW had a full 100% intensity). I have a 20 gallons tank.

Thanks.

Awesome can u share the schedule and percentage on the with and blues lights
So our schedule is :

8:00 am at 0% white and 0% Blue
10:30 am 10% white and 20% blue. 13:00 pm 20% white and 40% blue
17:00 pm 20% white and 40% blue
21:00 pm 0% white and 10% blue
22:00 pm 0% white and 0% blue

Just note that this schedule has been tuned to our schedules, we get home a bit later from work so we set a later schedule so we can enjoy the tank. We have also just had this setup for about a week. Everything appears happy so far, but it may need to be tweaked at a later day depending how things go.

I hope this helps you!

Absolutely! Glad I could help. I might increase my brightness, but I've read so many reviews of people who underestimate the power of the light. I look forward to your pics!

I just got my lights set up and am running this schedule and i love it! However when the lights go off at 10pm,they kick back on around midnight. The home screen on the controller says 4%white 0%blue but when i got to edit its says 0%w0%b. Any ideas how to fix?
