Nitrate- cannot get it to fall

Interesting. I think that at least tell us that coral may adapt to unnatural nitrate concentrations. Maybe not all though. In the study there was differences between species how much the oxidative stress due to elevated nitrate levels affected the coral. And as I said, ammonium can have a protective effect. Also, according to the study, the bad effect of high nitrate was exaggerated if po4 was low at same time.
