All the time. I run around busting my butt caring for 5 tanks with no automation and my Gals elderly mother that lives with us ask me the other day if all I did was play around all day

My family can give a dang about my tank. But sure love to show it to people when they come over. Kids love it though seeing the “Nemo’s”. At the end of the day it’s our hobby and more self enjoyment than anything. People on this forum definitely like to see a nice looking tank

My wife and kids appreciate the tank. Of course one kid owns a white spotted hermit and a flame hawk, and one owns the pincushion urchin. I bought my wife Bangai Cardinals, but they both croaked.

Some guests are really interested, some don't notice it.

My Dad says he can't understand why anyone would keep an aquarium.

Same same lol my family saying it’s a waste of time, but my coworkers (the males) will talk to me about there own tanks (most freshwater) and they ask for updates and help on fish diseases and what I’m going to add more or when. I get super happy when ppl ask me about my stuff or they start sharing about there stuff… my manager has a ghost shrimp that’s pregnant and he’s so happy and excited
