now those are not bad at all the point of this thread is to see how good of a photgrapher you are. not how good of an editer some people are..
Some people ad too much saturation and color (you can tell by glowing frag plugs) .You did good. l

Thank you!! I am actually really unhappy with the Sony...the Canon was so much better....

I have the same Sony camera and am not happy with it at all i have tried all the settings and the under water setting is the best but does add more Blue to the picture and i can not get a clear picture when trying to do Micro or up close pictures with this camera.

The best setting I found (I run 14K Phoenix on Icecaps) was the P mode. For WB, either the first option (auto) or the thrid option (clouds?) worked best for me. But even then, I had to process the pics by removing blue, some green, and slightly increasing red. Annoying! I actually just sent in my Canon to be repaired!!! For $75 I thought it was worth it, even if it is an older model.

I will have to try those settings and see what happens and i might by the under water case for it and see what happens then and are you using the sony program to clean up the pictures that came with the camera.

I think they come with 3 different types of underwater housings. A really cheap one, a kind of cheap one, and an expensive one. I bought the middle one. It's this weird 2 piece system... nothing like the Canon one.

Yeah, I just use the tone curve adjustments on the Sony software. Not great, but sufficient. I don't own PS

Here ya go, SDguy. This is the first Canon camera that I've owned that requires very little post-processing. It even has a balance setting just for aquarium use. These pictures were all taken in a row, no editing, no re-takes (except for the War coral that was off center), auto ISO in fish mode. Not tripod with my arm in the water. Canon D-10. Crazy easy to use.
