Can someone please explain to me how to use a non-continuous dosing pump to dose kalk all day long. Currently I am using a versa, however in less than a year I have been through 3 versas and do not trust them. I’m not wanting to shell out $300+ for the kamoer so what kind of programming does a doser that can dose say 24x’s a day require??

May have found my answer, can someone correct me of I am wrong? Say I go with a 24x a day doser and I am currently dosing 800 ml a day, split up into 4 chunks with the stirrer kicking on in between, I basically take 800/24 comes out to 33 1/3 ml per hour. Now do the standard kamoers just kick on and dump 33ml in all at once or can it kick on 24 times a day and spread the 33ml out over the entire hour?

Does the single shot of kalk once an hour make any difference or pose any risk over slowly dripping 200ml over 4 hours before I stop it so the stirrer can mix and then let it settle for 2 hours before resuming pump drip. Buddy of mine swears by continuous pumps and tells me a timed pump will cause spikes.

Mine is split into 12 doses a day, it’s fine.
