Thought I would document my experience here. I started my first tank I've ever owned 3 months ago. Did a lot of research and this is what I have come up with so far. Haven't had any coral deaths, the only issue I have run into is a death of a royal gramma (not sure why). I do have some sort of brown algae growing on some of my rocks but not too noticeable.

Waterbox 20 cube
DJ Switch Power Strip
3155 ATO
inTank media basket - filter floss - chemipure blue
Mean Green UV (cheap from petco) - only turn on during bacterial blooms
2 x eheim jaiger heaters
Sicce 1.0 return pump
Stocking
Some designer clown (pennywise or penny for short)
Tailspot Blenny (Swim Shady)
Blood Fire Shrimp (lucifer cause he steals food from corals)
Sand Tiger Conch (Dumbo- my daughter named him cause he has a trunk like an elephant)
various snails and hermits.
Going to add one more fish, not sure yet which one
