Welcome to R2R and thanks for the support. 1 quick question, if recommended quantity for 24x24 tank is 2 units (for SPS) why is recommended quantity for 48x24 6 units? 48x24 is double the size of 24x24, so shouldnt 4 units be enough? Thanks for the help.

There is going to be a big test for Black Box LED lights soon on R2R. Perhaps you would be interested in reaching out to @Manose to see if you can work out something so that these lights could be included in the test.

Participant requirements :

a. Write down your tank opening time

b. What equipment are you using now?

c. The full view picture of the tank

d. Tank size (length * width * height)

e. Share the event to the aquarium related circles and take a screenshot


The selected person records the light growth, light mixing effect, PAR value, spectrometertest for one month, and records at least once a week.


Select three people: light 2+ bracket 2 + controller 1

Select four people: light 1 + bracket 1 + controller 1


Activity end time: Dec 7th, 2018, US Eastern Time.
