I have recently purchased some used noopsyche lights

4pcs k7 v3 (non pro)
2pcs k7 pro 2
But only 1 controller

I am putting these over a 300 gallon shallow
96x30x24 tall

Currently have the v3s running above my 125, have only tested the v2s when they first arrived

I haven’t tried this yet but curious if anyone has.

I want to run both v2 and v3 above this tank
Can I on the same controller?
I will be testing this in the coming week when I have time. Figured I could ask first.

If it works I will find 2 more v2 pros. Run the v2 toward the front of the tank and the v3 above the rocks.

If not the v2 will go above one of my other tanks and be looking for 4 more v3.

Still a long way to go before the 300 sees water. Stand is coming along nicely

Can you mix them, yes. Will the same remote work for both, no.

I had the older 90 watt K7 Pro II, the 140 watt K7 V3, and the newest 140 K7 Pro III plus a K7 V3 Mini (65 watt) all on the same tank. I had one remote for the K7 Pro II, one remote for the K7 V3 and another for the Mini, and the app for the K7 Pro III. You wouldn't want one remote/app to control them all because the different lights have different color channels so you wouldn't have flexibility to blend.

Well crap. Ok so I need a remote for my v2s and will use them on my other tanks and will be looking for 4 more k7 v3.

How many slaves can I have? Looking at 8 total lights on this tank

I believe it was 10 or 12 total with 1 master and the rest slaves.

I found a new remote that I had in our storage if you need it still
