Hi everyone, I’m considering upgrading my light to a Noopsyche (Mini or Pro) for my 25-gallon cube aquarium (18”x18”x18”). I plan to keep an anemone, lps, soft , so I’m looking for guidance on (I will have a par meter) :

1. Which model would be more appropriate for my tank size?

2. What settings/ light schedule should I use for my corals?

Any advice or experiences with these lights in a similar setup would be greatly appreciated!

I have the mini and like it. I just ordered the k7pro for my 20 gal. The reason why, the pro has more led channels compared to the mini.
I will have to turn them way down, but, if and when i upgrade to a bigger tank i can use the pro.

Pro, turned down would be my choice. You said you have a par meter so try the LPS setting and go from there. Turn up violet and dark blue for more pop.

I think you would have too much shadowing with a single mini, you would need 2.

I'm using the k7 mini on my 25 gal (60x40x40cm). I only use one of them and I think it's adequate enough for my LPS corals. The noopsyche have their own presets or you could follow @JoJosReef settings and schedule.

I have 2 minis on a 20 long. Biggest reason initially was cost. I won one in a giveaway on R2R last year and was able to get a second one gifted by a friend. Nice lights 2 are perfect for this size tank. If I had to purchase a light the Noop pro would probably be my choice.

Upgraded to a bigger tank but still use the minis over the same corals

I would agree with @JoJosReef for using a single pro, esp if you wand to keep light demanding corals like Acros . The spread and penetration would be good for a lot of softies and many kinds of lps with the mini.

Hello, I hope all is well. I just order my k7 pro. Are you in the states and did it ship? I’m nervous about my order and haven’t seen anyone update in a while. Thank you
