Guys I'm trying to find a happy median for my fishes. I have a 75g with some frags of corals. Everything fairly small right now. I have a magnificent foxface, flame Angel, yellow eyed kole tang and a starry blenny. All of which easy nori. I buy the large sheets of nori from my Asian market. They go nuts over it but i have been putting 1 sheet every other day in there and they demolish it. Can i go to 1 a day or will that be too much? Please let it be noted that when it's been in there for a day, I usually find the foxface burying his snout between the clip trying to get every little but he can.

When you say a sheet what is the size? I feed 2- 4"x4" sheets of nori every third day in the morning. I also give pellets and frozen mysis. Got 3 large tangs, but all my fish pick at it.

I put a sheet in everyday for my Moorish Idol and Naso Tang. The MI literally waits by the clip for me to add some, and like your foxface, will pick at the empty clip all day trying for every piece. The MI is fat and healthy, so I'm not sure if you can add to much if your fish are eating it all. It's just veggies after all, but I don't know for sure if could be a to much of a good thing type situation.

They will consume it till it's gone . My 2 sheets tightly rolled into a cigar go in a matter of hours. Mostly the big blue boss, Hippo tang! I wouldn't say it's just veggies, it's food and if the concern is nutrient production, you should take it into account. Check out these numbers for nori, crude protein(min) 33.1%, crude fat(min) 3.9%, and 3.3% crude fiber! It's is wholesome stuff, good for us too![emoji4][emoji106]

I meant it's veggies, so not thinking anything harmful there. Most were taught to eat there veggies cause there good for us. Anyway, My Mi must be a vegetarian cause it will eat veggies all day long.

I'm talking about an 8x8 sushi sheet spilt into 2 veggie clips daily.

I would think that if they are consuming it and it just isn't blowing around the tank then you should be fine. Mine get about a 1/4 sheet per day sometimes more...it's always gone!
