i am somewhat new back and the tank is up and running, been through cycle with minimal problems but now i am getting color on the rocks and sand. not sure if it is good or bad or just another part of cycle. all parameters are at normal. i have a couple fish and some clean up crew that i just added and no coral yet (waiting to make sure everything stabilizes for a bit)

I am sure this is a standard question but i want to make sure i am not missing anything

temp 77.8
ph 8.1
alk 6.4
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
salinity 35 (1.026)
orp 254
phos 0
iodine .06

Hello,

As others have commented, it’s just your tank cycling, in which its part of the normal sequence. I would also second the motion to, get more turbo snails and crabs as a clean up crew. 300 is pretty large, I have close to 50 each in my 240. Hope this helps and good luck.
