Does anyone know what this kind of gray stuff is at the bottom and on the rocks of my tank? And if so how to get rid of it?

Never seen this before. I would vacuum it out during a water change. It looks like fines from the sand.

IT is the very fine sand from when you dumped your sane in the tank when the water looked dirty at first that is what it was hen it settles out of water column that iw what it looks like. it is fine sand... did you rinse out your sub-straight before you put it in the tank?

Your tank is new? it wil not harm your reef but I would vacuum it out anyway so the water does not get clouded.

Thanks, I did rinse it before putting it in the tank, it just started to appear tho about 3 weeks after setting the tank up so I was just wondering if it was bad or not!
