Not sure where to post

Welcome!
+1 on starting a build thread -- you'll get good responses/critique for your design/idea posts.

Aside, my tank is in a wall "nook" (in my build thread).
Be sure to think about maintenance (room around tank) as well as room for equipment.

Hello everyone. I have been stalking for years, but never pulled the trigger until now. Long story that I won't post here, but I have a tank that is being placed in a small room for an "in wall" living room viewing. I still have a little time for layout, and I'm just not sure which forum to post my design/layout questions in for a 300g tank. I don't want to spam anyone, so any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated. BTW-You guys are a great community with beautiful tanks. Super excited to finally be a part of it. Thanks!

Hi Jason and Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID).

If you want feedback, I wouldn't expect it in the build area (though I'm sometimes surprised to see it happen), but instead take whatever specific question into the various Forum area for that question. People tend to watch whatever their niche area is so they can respond appropriately. For instance, here in 'meet and great' you'll find a lot of helpful and friendly people... not to say they may not be able to answer questions, but in the lighting area its watched by lighting people, general is watch by jack of all trades curious people, etc etc so you'll find the helpful people in the area of most interest to whatever you're solving at the moment as you go forward.

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
