Hi everyone! I'm a busy mom of two teens that needed a hobby for myself. I have had freshwater tanks on and off all of my life but took the leap into saltwater a year or so ago with a 32g Biocube. We also have a 150g FOWLR that I am in the process of converting to a reef tank now that I have my feet under me with the little one. I've been stalking Reef2Reef for a long time and have quietly learned so much from all of the experience here. SOOOOO much more to learn though! Thanks for adding me to the group! Welcome! Glad you joined. I'm Lisa and 1 teenager here... who does love our tank but hasn't yet heard I want to rent her school's cafeteria for our hobby clubs next frag swap in 2023... maybe she will think it is cool if it works out!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:
