Didn’t know there was not an nps section here. The folks over at RC have an nps section. It’s got some real good stuff. Got to use all the resources you can I’d say. I haven’t any experience with nps, as Lapin mentions, the feeding seems to be difficult, but doable. I believe this stems from polluting the tank due to nps needing regular feeding during the day and night. People have set up auto feeding systems that are connected to refrigerators to simulate this. I can’t say for sure, but I think these set ups are sometimes kept at lower temps than our regular reefs. That’s an extra challenge.I believe it is the most difficult set up one could have. It can be done. Make a thread so folks can learn from your experiences.
I’m struggling with my simple reef. Think I might just throw a bunch of caulerpa in there. You didn’t get many replies, so I thought I’d throw in my 2 cents, whatever it’s worth. I’m cheering for you. IMO Nps corals are very interesting and beautiful. Tube nems are real cool. The cal academy of science(stein hart) has a real cool tank that is species specific for them.
