These guys vary in shade from browns to bright orange. According to a local biologist they are believed to eat sponges. What has been your experience with this nudi?

Seems to only move at night when lights are out. Probably eating the remaining sponges. Surprised it’s lasted this long. I am concerned once it runs out of food and dies, will it release toxins and crash my tank? Probably best to remove it. Not sure how.

The nudi could be sustaining on detritus and algae. btw, it won't crash the tank if it dies, other critters in the tank will eat it.
