I'm back into the hobby after a 3 year hiatus and I'm super excited to start! Have going back and forth between a Nuvo 20, Nuvo 30L and a Nuvo EXT 30L, I finally landed on the EXT 30L. I liked the long 3 ft version and the ability to add a sump. I had also planned on building my own stand to match the new room we just renovated. The stand would have a built in bar. So I first built the stand.

The stand was built with plywood and pocket hole joints. The left section is the bar, middle section is for the sump, and the right is for the power and supplies. I painted several coats of Kilz and stained the part of the top. The sump doors can slide inwards like pocket doors. I was pretty happy with it all! Only wish I had a table saw to help make some of the cuts more straight. This stand took about 3 weekends to build.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Here are a few pictures of the sump and power sections. The sump is a Trigger 26 with a Tunze 9004 skimmer (I got it because I was going to get an All In One tank), 2 Colbalt Heaters, MarinePure balls, BRS Mini Reator with carbon and a Sicca 3 pump. I will have a refugium which is lighted by an AI Prime Fuge. The ATO container is also a Trigger container using Tunze Nano ATO.

The power compartment is nice and tidy and hidden away with a magnetic lid.

Love the bar incorporated into the stand! Such a clean look! What are your plans for coral?
Thanks! I thought, "I love fish and I love whiskey, so let's combine them!". And I haven't thought too much about the corals yet. I know I want a zoa garden on the right isolated rock. I would mainly have LPS but I would also want a few SPS if possible. I also have don't alot of research to avoid "pest" corals.
