Hello all... hoping a skimmer guru can help me out.

I have a Nyos 120 that pours microbubbles out of the “exhaust” section where the cord passes through flooding the DT with microbubbles.

The Nyos is in a new tank that has been cycling now for about 3 weeks. No livestock.

Currently sitting in 8” of water per the manual. I have noticed that bubbles are below the diffuser plate and that seems to be the majority being sent out the back.

Can anyone provide some insight if this is normal break in or something mechanical?

If the skimmer is new it will take around 2 weeks to break in. Just set it where it doesn’t constantly overflow during that time and when the bubbles stop (they will) adjust for the wetness of skimmate you want.
