I've always heard great things about their lids!
I have the pro line and although it’s no glass cages high end type of tank and stand, it’s very nice. I’m actually not sure what the building materials are. I wouldn’t worry about that because it’s coated in a marine proof coating. The great thing about this tank is the silicone work is nice and the external overflow frees up a good amount of space.
It's a type of MDF I'm guessing, not Walmart mdf if that makes sense. The stand is solid and like said above is coated in marine grade epoxy(?). I'm highly impressed with the whole setup and would highly recommend.

Thanks! The melamine-coating is certainly nice for reducing water-related damage. Trying to decide on a set-up that is not too DIY. Was sold on the Red Sea Reefer set-up until I saw all the leakage issues being described here and on Reddit.

Roanoke reefing is back!After less than a year back in the hobby decided to add another tank to the mix. Went with the NYOS Opus 300 G2 Slim.
Lighting - 36" Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid w/ 2 X30 Blue
Bulbs - ATI 2 Blue, 1 Coral and 1 Purple
Flow - AI Orbit 4 and Nero 5
Return - Neptune COR15
Control - Apex A3
Scape - Tropic Marin Rock
Skimmer - NYOS 120
I started off by removing the filter sock chamber so I can hard plumb in a Reefmat 500. RedSea kit made removing the silicon pretty easy.

Once you remove that baffle it’s pretty easy. Make sure you get the converter from metric pvc size to standard size if you are in the USA. I did it on my tank and it is worth the time and investment
