How did you manage to get it level? It’s my main concern (looking at the 440) of the slim version.
Shims from Home Depot, I really should have elaborated on that post. It was a pain because I was doing it myself, up and down, up and down. It wasn't any more difficult than any other tank I've setup.

Thanks! I heard of someone installing levelling feet, so wasn't sure what approach you used. Appreciate the quick response.

What are you using for your ato? I am trying to use the redsea ato, but the mount/clip doesn't really fit anywhere and I'm not sure where to put the water level.

Looking good, any updates ? considering the slim model but unsure with the lack of front glass support, this gives me Red Sea vibes and it is making me nervous. what do you guys think ?

Thanks in advance

Tank is coming along. Tanks have come that way for years, Elos I believe started this trend, in Red Seas case it appears they used cheap silicone. My seams are perfect still to this day. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the NYOS again, my only regret is not buying the bigger one :)

I have been following this thread for a while and this OP made me decided to go with the Nyos Opus 300. Got mine on sale from BRS for $1600 - best looking tank for me so far. I set it up a month ago with my rock/coral from the old nano tank.

Congrats! I'm just in the process of setting up my 440. Yours is looking great! Did you have live rock / anything to help along with the cycle / were you moving stuff up from an established tank? Lots in there for a month in - great to see!

Thank you! The left island is from my 3 years old well established Red Sea Max Nano. But for the first 2 weeks, I use prodibio biodigest, micro bacter 7, and a little bit stability every 2 days. 0 ammonia from the first day until now. But I think because dosing a lot of the bacteria, and higher light, my ALK is dropping like crazy, today I am dosing 35ml AFR and 200ml of Kalk daily to keep up with the consumption.

Well, I live in Roanoke as well, considering buying this exact tank. Sell me this one, and you can buy the 440! lol
