Good salt. Mixes clear. Close to the weight they say it needs for 5 gallons. Mine is .2 lbs off.

Good backup salt. Best salt is Brightwell. I’ll be going back to it when I finish this bucket of Elos

Where have you bought ELOS salt if you’re in USA? Just got some and don’t know where to buy. (Gift from a friend who got it on a trade lol)

I've used a few more expensive salts over the years. They all did well (including NYOS), but i settled on instant ocean a bunch of years ago, it performed the same. In fact it was better than RSCP, as it doesn't encrust a bunch of stuff on my salt container.

I've been using the IO Purple for years and am thinking of either going reef crystals, hw marinemix reefer OR NYOS because I'm just not seeing much growth from my corals. Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of RC for my purposes because of the organics in it that I do not want (vitamins and metal chelator). I prefer to use normal IO.

That said, poor coral growth is not usually fully ascribed to a salt mix. Tank chemistry unrelated to the salt mix (alk, pH, N, P, etc.) flow, lighting etc, all play a role.
