Hi, I'm currently setting up my first reef tank and adding the bits in the sump.
I have the potential to buy a used Quantum 160 as a skimmer, one model that I had been considering because of good reviews, and it being quiet, but does anyone else have one in their V3 sump of a Red Sea 350 ?

The measurements suggest it should fit, and be plenty big enough to cope with a 350, but are there any negatives I havent considered please ?

Thanks.

I have a Quantum 160 in my Red Sea 750XXL, and I probably should've gone with the 220 - so the 160 will be perfect for your 350 (worst-case scenario you're emptying it less). You can also angle it in or place it sideways, so there shouldn't be any issues. Quiet, easy to tune and reliable to a tee.
