Question. My plan was to start with Dry sand and seed with Microbacter StartXLM. Well do too a delay in the manufacturing of my tank, they comped me 2 bags of Ocean Direct. Is their any harm in using Microbacter Start with the live sand. I know the bottle warns about a slowed cycle but I was wondering what anyone's experience has been with it. Thanks

There is not an issue. I believe the reason why some companies say that is that phosphate may be a limiting resource in a tank that has not had any phosphate enter it (assuming the use of ammonium chloride, RODI water, and rocks that have not been previously used).
