Hey yall have been feeding reef flakes from ocean nutrition along with frozen shrimp. My fish love the flakes and I just recently purchased formula 2 ocean nutrition pellets! My wrasses and anthias haven’t touched the pellets and I worry my tang won’t touch it either!

Any recommendations for ocean nutrition food that can compliment frozen shrimp!

Thank you

Why not just stick with flakes if all your fish like them? Ocean Nutrition has all formulas in both flake and pellet.

Formula 2 has a higher algae/"veggie" concentration, so I am not surprised that wrasses and anthias, who prefer animal protein, aren't huge fans.

I haven’t tried it with the tang cuz I’ve yet to pick it up! But I feel like the tang will eat the flakes too!!

So both options are good! As long as the fish are enjoying it? Cuz the pellets just sink and hardley get touched lol

my tangs love ON formula 2. Also make sure to feed your tang nori, keeps them healthy, vibrantly colorful, and aids in their digestion!

I use these for nori feeding:

if they junk sink and no one eats them, I wouldn't bother feeding that food.

I would not use their pellets, the flake is okay, as is the frozen. Better pellets are TDO chroma boost and New Life Thera A+
