Were the weather people more accurate back then? This thread is clown shoes.

The bottom line is that reefs are hurting and disappearing globally for a number of reasons. The last thing vulnerable reefs need are the effects of anthropocentric climate change caused by CO2 and by fossil fuels. Suggesting that current trends are not alarming or of concern because of historic changes creates a false sense of security and completely ignores the important concept of scale, rate of change, and type of change.

The reefs are coming back and life that they hold are flourishing. The fish are agreeing. All of em.

Most things more complicated than 1+1 turn into clown shoes these days.

Good luck fixing things

The Big Apple generates more than 14 million tonnes of rubbish a year, and spends around $2.3bn disposing of it – sometimes 7,000 miles away in China.
