There isn't any hope for the world's oceans.
Or the world's terrestrial wildlife either.
We are in the middle of the massive Holocene Extinction Event, which continues to accelerate.
And we are the only cause of it, in a hundred different ways.
On a global scale the human race is quite incapable of and uninterested in controlling its rapacious and destructive behavior.
