Octo Pulse2

I have an Octo pulse 2 on my 120 the plastic sheathing that covers to power cable from the pump out till out of water has cracked and shattered off. Now there are 3 wires.. anyone else had this issue for what this pump coast that would be the last thing I would think would happen. Is a fantastic pump but scars me the wires like that

I would replace it. It’s only a matter of time before water gets in and it shorts out. It’s DC current which is bettter than A/C. I think you can just get the pump body.

Yes true however For what it cost so you think there should be such an issue? That is what gets me it is a still working close to $300 propeller pump. 2-years old or 10 yrs old it should hold up.
