Looking for some input on what this is that appears to be growing on our octospawn. Have had it in the tank for about 3 months now. Noticed it about 2 weeks ago and about the same time the octo stopped opening up as much and just does not seem happy. Just moved it to the frag rack for better pictures. Any thoughts?

Thanks all

Yeah, that dude has to go. If it’s really just one I'd snip it off with bone cutters or something, and dig out the rest of it with a pick.
So far only see the one, but going to look over the tank closely tonight and remove anything else I see
