I asked my boss if I could bring my 2.5 gal pico tank to work and set it up on my desk. To my surprise he said "Yes".

So this is the next day (before he changed his mind, lol)

I plan to swap the light out with an AI Prime.

This is the tank today.
I ordered 5 lbs of live sand that should be here tomorrow.
Also have some LR in my main tank I will bring up here once the sand is here.
I plan to make it mostly Zoas, Acans and a few digitata.
Im thinking about putting 1 fish in here but not sure yet. I don't want to have to battle algae issues.
May just add a shrimp and snail to help out if the tank gets algae.

I have a fluval spec v that is at home just waiting. Unfortunately I won't have my own office for probably another 2 to 4 years.

Getting a Yasha Goby and pistol shrimp for this tank in a couple weeks!

Added 10 more frags for a total of 11 corals.
12+ heads Acan colony
1" fully encrusted Red Digitata
1" fully encrusted Green Digitata
3 polyps Candu Apple Red
6 polyps ASD Leprechauns
4 polyps Magicians
10 polyps Twizzlers
5 polyps Utter Chaos
1 green Ricordea shroom
3 heads head Pink Frog spawn
1 head Green Frogspawn
2 heads Green torch

Also added an AI Prime over the tank. 8-10" off the water surface.
Now it will be so much more difficult to add sand Friday. I just couldn't wait to add corals.

I have an office pico too. The hardest part I find with fish is leaving it for the weekend without food. Especially if there's a long weekend break. My clown goby does not eat pellets or flakes so an auto feeder won't work.

just started looking at your pico! Very well stocked!
Did the mesh lid come with the kit?
There is someone here on the weekends when Im off. I am going to show him how to feed the fish and top off the tank.
My Yasha Goby and Pistol shrimp should be here in the next week or so. Im so stoked to finally have the pair!!

The mesh lid didn't come with the kit. it came with a solid plexi-glass. I cut a hole in it and added the mesh myself to allow the light through.

I can't wait to see your goby/shrimp pair! I thought about a pair for mine, but I never seem to have luck with them.

will probable remove it. I have an 8x8 sheet in my main tank. want to do a gsp iskand in my new 85 gallon build in the near future
