can i say is YESSSS! finally a reef community w/ a person of integrity at its leadership... Rev as you probably already know since your a pastor is the best/most important thing you can offer ur congregation and this reef community is your integrety... can i just say stuff like this put reef 2 reef #1 in my book... and that makes me feel happy that this community has ur kinda leadership... as you know this hobby can be ran down w/ some the garbage it has... i know i personally have had the misfortune of be hosed outta some bad dealings... one to the tune of $1000+ on some brand new apex stuff that got sent to Canada... to have the guy dispute his CC charge that he initiated through PP and so some how he got is CC to refund him the money w/o sending by my product... I was VERY TICKED off... we aren't really living the high life here, w/ me being unemployeed for the past almost 6 months... luckily we live pretty lean here... and have been through financial peace university twice now... and we don't have any CC debt at all... to top it all off my childs mom which i had from the early years of my walk is now feel like her 5 yr plan is back on track and now wants to try and rip her daughter outta everything she has call home for the last 4 yrs.. so she can go live in TX where there is NO FAMILY/FRIENDS/nothing... so pray there please...
as a result the financial stress and the stress of have our family ripped apart and having bianca ripped from her brother and sister has just put alot of stress on our house hold and has caused my wife and I to have problems... so please prayer for our marriage too... we have been seeking christian counselling and r gonna be getting marriage mentors through our church that we both serve at and go to church every week... we don't miss a sunday... we both Love the Lord, as you prolly know passionate people also fight passionately too... so prayer here too God bless this community!

I am very glad I found this forum. I am also a Christian and a fellow reefer, and am very glad to get the best of both worlds here. I will keep everyone here in my prayers as well. Please keep my family and myself in your prayers as well, just to bring us all closer to GOD as we all need to be closer to him. Thanks everyone. God bless.

My dad, big Steve(Steve&Mari), has asked that I make a thread n ask that you guys keep him in your thoughts and prayers tonight as he will be spending the night in the hospital at u of m for testing to see if there has been any sudden advancements in his cancer.. I felt it belonged here instead. But he's hasn't been feeling right for a while now and he has lost around 30 pounds in the past 5 weeks... he contacted his oncologist and they decided it was worth him getting checked out ahead of his regular check ups.. we are hoping and praying that it's not anything serious and would ask that you guys join us in keeping him in our thoughts tonight... thanks and God bless.

Oh, how we all need to draw closer to Him on a daily basis! Thank you for your kind words. I will definitely pray for you and your family. One more thing, there is a book called Drawing Near to God by John Bevere that has changed my life! You should check it out.
We have and will continue to pray for Your dad. Like bige said, it is hard to sometimes understand the things we go through and the things our loved ones go through. How can finite humans ever understand and infinite God? We just have to trust that God has it under control and that He is working out His will in those who trust in Him. We can only see through a dark glass right now, but when we get to look at Him face to face we will see clearly God's purposes for His children. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
Great idea, Took me a bit to get caught up and read the last 23 pages. But simply amazing. Really kind of puts yourself out there.But sometimes doing the right thing isnt always the path that most people take. It is truly a pleasure to have met you all and to be a part of all of this. Keep up the great work here Rev and Family. I am sure ill be on here alot more as Ill be going in for knee surgery.

I've never asked before now but please say a prayer for the family and friends of Master K9 Trainer Kevin Weber of the Fort Wayne Police Department who recently passed after a short fight with cancer. He is dearly missed by many and its been a difficult time for all of us. Thank you.
Kevin "Pottsy" Weber was a unique and talented cop we all learned from. His ready smile and welcoming greeting made each of us smile and cherish all he had to give us. He was a dedicated police officer and public servant. His contributions to the community at large, and our community of police officers, will never be forgotten. His specialty was training K9s, and he excelled as a Master Trainer of our K9s and their handlers.
Every contact with Kevin reminded us of the joy and happiness that can come from policing. There were so many days he brought light into the darkness of our profession.

I would appreciate some prayer for a sucessful job interview on Monday (12/5). It is a very promising position and I am well qualified. I have a very good feeling that this will be the company that hires me but it is not going to happen without God's help and I know He listens to the good people that come to this site.
In 2005 the company I was dedicated to for 26 years had a "corporate restructuring" and I was "downsized" out on the street. After two years of unemployment I started another job two positions lower than the first one for 56 percent of the salary. I had a blessed four years with that company until the end of October when they closed the plant. I am very thankful for and have loved every job I have had in my career. I believe this opportunity could put us back on track financially so that someday I may be able to retire.
I thank you for your prayers and I pray for all the needs of the R2R community.

Thanks to all here for your prayer. I know there are many who like me visit regularly and pray for the needs on this thread but don't post anything. You have my thanks for the "silent" prayers that are very special. Keep them coming!
The interview with the "Staffing" company went well this morning and I am scheduled on Friday to interview with the company I hope to be working for. It is a temporary position until April 2012 but I know if I can get my foot in the door they will hire me permanently if they have an opening in the future.
