Official Prayer Thread!! (Prayer Request)

For those who post their prayer requests in this thread, I want you to know that I don't just say I am praying for you, but really do. I read a Scripture, from the paraphrase Bible (The Message) a few years ago that has forever changed my heart about praying for the needs of others--"Don't they know anything, all these impostors? Don't they know they can't get away with this— Treating people like a fast-food meal over which they're too busy to pray?" (Psalm 14:4) Message Bible

Your prayer requests go into my prayer journal and sincerely prayed over! I am standing in prayer with all of your individual needs! You can count on it!

Thank you so much, your effort speaks worlds alone. You and Rev are VERY caring people and it shows through everything you guys do! Thank you again for everything!

^^ Your words are very humbling and appreciated! Thank you!

This has to be the best Thread I have come across, as a Believer it's hard to talk about what we believe in and a Prayer request Thread in a reef forum is pretty awesome.

Adding all the recent requests to my prayers, may God give you all the strength and comfort you need. Keep strong and have faith in His will.

Every time I read this thread I pray and tear up because this truly is an amazing forum. Thank you David and Tonya for everything you do, on and off this site! God has a special place in his heart for amazing people like you!!!

Prayers going out the the People in Aurora, CO shooting, this would also be a Prayer request :)

I am also sending and requesting prayers fo Aurora CO. Such a tragic incident!!!

Well... I'm not especially a religious person & I seldom ask for prayers, but I saw this earlier & it has been pulling at my heart.
Prayers For Cheyenne

As a new mom, myself, this really, really bothers me. It's pushed me to tears several times today just thinking about this poor baby. I'm going to see if they would set up a Paypal account for donations. I think that might help; it'd be easier for me to send money that way so I'm sure it'd be more convenient for others.

So if any of you have a spare minute, send a prayer to this sweet baby & her mommy. Lord knows they need it. : /

Alright, time as come for our 2nd annual Prison Mission Trip. A group of 50 men and women from my church will be going into a max security prison in Ohio. Please play to soften the hearts of the inmates to receive the Truth. Also, to keep our team safe. Thank you all! God Bless!

I would like to share a story with everybody here.

A couple years ago, my girlfriend at the time and I lost a very good friend. She was a lot closer to him living next door but I still looked up to him because he could befriend anyone. He didn't care if you were a "cool" guy, nerd, jock, cheerleader, outsider, how much money your family had, etc.., that didn't matter to him. He was always there to help anyone. He was also a good looking guy with a lot of intelligence; pretty much had it all. He unfortunately drowned in a lake in Texas and wasn't found for 2-3 months. When he was finally found, he was standing straight up and down with his arms out to the side, like a cross. A few months later, my girlfriend at the time and I were talking about how we missed him, how nice he was, etc.. while driving home. I looked over at her and on her window was a cross drawn in what looked like fog when you huff warm air onto glass. The crazy thing was, it was on the outside as we were driving. We tried wiping it off with our hands and a shirt I had. It didn't go away and stayed for ten more minutes until we pulled into her driveway. We ran into the house to get her grandmother as she had a strong liking to the boy as we did. When we got back to the car, it was gone. God decided he needed Brandon more than we did.

While searching for Brandon, search and rescue teams ran out of funds and equipment multiple times. Since then, Brandon's family has started a charity called "The BMF Project" in Texas that provides needed equipment to volunteer and government search and rescue teams in hope that families find loved ones much quicker. God has his plans and good things tend to come from the bad.

I still have my doubts but think about Brandon and what happens and that helps to reassure my belief.

To believe again.

Hi everyone, I find new areas on this forum every day that I love. If you have seen my tank build thread some of you know about my wife’s illness. Last October my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer it has spread to her liver, lungs and lymph nodes she had major surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible.

She started chemotherapy in November of 2011 and has been in treatment daily for the last 10 months. Recently the chemotherapy treatment she has been on stopped shrinking the tumors. The doctors are working to find a new treatment protocol.

It’s been very hard to stay positive, there have been many times I've thought about breaking down the tank but my wife isn’t going to let it happen. I wish everyday for my wife to become cancer free, it’s hard knowing someone you love is sick and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Just visit this & send them your best. I sent them a donation to help cover the medical bills & funeral costs. I can't really get into his story because I've been in tears on & off for the past day... I'm not ready to cry again.

Please, please pray for them & if you are so moved to, donate to help this family pay for Liam's bills.
