Please say a prayer for my grandmother/godmother. She is having emergency quadruple bypass surgery. The doctors told us to go into this with no regrets as she has to have the surgery, but with her age and diabetes condition she might not make it through.

We will say a prayer for her tonight, I know the feeling! Hope everything works out ok!;)

Revhtree....I have two request. First my father, Don P. He is facing open heart surgery to repair a leaky valve. He had 4 stints put in last year and now they want to repair this leak. If he doesn't get it done, he is facing a stroke, shortened life, or a combo of both. He intends to have it done ASAP. Many doctor visit in the interm.

My second is for my nephew, Zack J. He was in a bad truck fire. He was burned on 70% + of his body. He lost his much love Rossie. They were to be married next year, and she had just found out that morning that she was expecting. Zack is now released from the hospital but is still in therapy both mental and physical. Everyday is a challage for him.

Both of my prayer request have strong Church families that are praying for them. However, it never hurst to have more prayer going to our wonderful God. Thanks for doing this thread. It is needed.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately her diabetes is causing complications and her surgery has been postponed because it is too dangerous. I've never seen so many IV's and hoses connected to someone in my life. They have someone that monitors everything going on with her constantly.

Please keep the prayers coming. God bless all of you.

My prayers are with all who requested. For those facing bypass surgery for a loved one my prayers are a little more personal. Bypass is very serious when there are other complications and those need all our prayers. My personal experience was very positive. I had a mild heart attack in 1999 due to clogged arteries. By 2001 they had clogged more and I had to have a bypass. They wanted to do 6 arteries and everything went well for the first 3. After trying for an hour and a half the surgeon gave up on the other three since they were too small. I was blessed at the time with excellent health, no complications and was only 48 years old so my recovery was very successful. That was 10 years ago and I passed my annual check up last month with no problems. When you think about what all they do for a bypass it is really scary but you need to know the surgeons do this all the time and are very skilled. When I had mine the standard was to only spend four days in the hospital before going home. My first roommate was 26 and my second was 85 and all three of us came through it with no problems. Keep praying but I want you to know there are more positive surgeries of this type than negative. God Bless you and all your loved ones needing help from our Lord.

They have came a very long way, they are actually now in the process of implementing a bypass without cutting the sternum and making just 3 small incisions

I've had part of right lung removed with the lil cuts n was out under 24 hours n home sure has changed how drs work. Were praying for you on this prayer thread:)

I ask for prayers for a very very close family friend n fellow church member. Joe kipper he was remodeling the home they are going to sell Monday night after work n was found 1 am he fell from ladder cutting his jaw really bad n hit his head. He is in intensive care listed critical he has a bad brain bleed n they yet this morning have not been able to stop. He has a family n 2 boys n lil girl from 2-10 that have been told it don't look good n he may not make it. He is a great guy n does lots for our church n community. Please remember Joe ,Kim n kids in prayer and thank you all.

Joe and his family are in my prayers. As for my gramma, she must go through a rehab process before her bypass surgery. Doctors said she is too weak right now. Thanks for all the prayers.

Hello fellow reefers. My name is Serafin. Its been one year since my love for this art form began.. New member to R2R and find myself on here everyday and never noticed this thread. It fills me with joy to know that there's a lot of men of GOD in here. I told myself not to get choked up while reading through the post, but I did, and I know thats its because of my own situation.

I have been out of work for sometime now, and GOD blessed my wife and I with our first baby girl, who is do in Nov...."Times are though" just seemed like a facade coming from puppet news anchors, but soon it was a realization I did not want to accept.

My prayers are with all of you. I thank the LORD for Rev and R2R for bringing us together.
