Hey fellow SCA owners and future owners!

I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could gather ,talk story, get inspiration, share our success and failures, post FTS and just create a SCA community here on R2R... ( I searched but did not find one if there is post a link here plz)

so how about we start off this thread with some FTS?

Nice cube. Can we see it from another angle? I like that about cubes you get three unique equally sized viewing options.

I ordered a 60x26x19 Peninsula from SCA which should be arriving soon. I’m logging the entire set up on my build thread.

@Brew12 great looking tank!

yeah I just got the tank to not the PNP. I did a DIY 40br sump with DIY 2x4 stand but the news stands look really nice.
if that was an option when I ordered I would have gotten one.

SCA owners, did you use the foam pad that came with the tank or use something else for the foam between tank and stand?

Be careful! Not using the provided pad may nullify the warranty?

I'm glad I stumble across this thread. I am looking to get a SCA120 or 150. They are only a few hours away from me so I plan on picking it up personally, check out the show room and save a little cash on shipping. I have a 85 gallon currently so i'm still debating on what I can reuse from my current set up (not much). If i went with a 120 I could continue running my 2 kessils and probably get away with running my 30 gallon sump for a while. The 150 on the other hand would add a lot more expense to the build. I just want to do it right this second time around and i'm afriad that if i went 120 i would later regret not getting a 150 haha. I also plan on getting one of their solid wood stand rather than MDF, can anyone tell me about the build quality of the tank and stand as a whole. Pics would be awesome as there isn't too much on the internet. Thanks everyone!!

there tanks are very nice! it will be heavy so have a friend or two to help the 12mm glass is no joke.
I wish there all wood stands where an option when I got mine they look very nice. when you go take a ton of pic and post em here.

I would go with the 150 or even custom like a 180 if you have the room. I think the 4' 120 are nice but the 150 look amazing I was so close to doing that then I remembered I am a renter that moves every few years...
I would have Steve drill it for external overflows like @Brew12 tank. more room to scape.

I really do like rimless vs euro braced. I do have plenty of room on my wall for a 150-180. It’s all about how much money I want to spend haha. I really appreciate the pics, I will text Steve and and let him know I want a rimless with a ghost over flow.

Did they say they'll knock off $200 if you pickup yourself? Is that an option?
