Wow im surprised that much actually survived though....good luck nursing it back to health. I'm positive if it makes it until tomorrow, the last couple eyes will be ok.

no worries shawn. the final eye melted about an hour ago. btw fedex called me and asked if i was satisfied i said no its a complete loss. she asked how much it cost me and i said 400 she said no problem sir please gget in touch with the seller he will be re-embursed very soon. i want half lol.

I missed a fedex shipment twice, back to back days...

If you try hard enough you can get your package at anytime after you miss it,well i did

As soon as i missed the package i called fedex told them the item being shipped has hundreds of dollars of value and wont last the night and said i need to find the truck driver for my area,sure enough they gave me his number and we met him in town.

+1 I have done this several times, I just go to the Fed Ex hub and let them track the driver down for me.

I never have stuff sent fedex anymore. They always deliver either to the wrong house or are late with priority shipping. The last time they delivered to the wrong house I had to call fed ex saying package is not here. I had to explain no sticker at the door or any package anywhere around my house. Later that night a neighbor came by dropping off the package. The next day fed ex called me saying driver picked up the package at the wrong location and it is now on my door step. I told them the driver was a liar as my neighbor dropped it off last night

If I no choice in shippers and have to use fedex no i just tell them to pull it and leave it at the hub and i will pick it up as fed ex drivers here in Dallas tx just can't be trusted to make deliveries on time or at the right location

Guys the problem on this one was it never left Michigan, and was technically lost the same day I dropped off the package. It wasnt until 4am on the 3rd day from drop off that they found it, and it continued on its way. Holding at the fedex location would not have helped.

As far as the insurance is concerned, I did insure the package. Fedex also believes it to be a custom made part, that the reciever needed by the next day or it was worthless to him. I will be reiembursed. ;)
