help with fed ex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so good ole fed ex held my package in Tennessee for some stupid reason when im shipping from vegas to cali...... anywho they said it's not gonna be able to get delivered until tomorrow and by then it will most likely be a loss. "sps"......:cry: i hear they don't cover corals so what do you do just man up and take the loss???? or is there anyway to file a claim???? also will they refund the shipping charges since it didn't make it on time??? for some odd reason it was 77$ for a small box over night priority by 10:30 and last week i shipped the same box with the same weight everything for 47$ what is all that about?????:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Wow Troy...that is horrible. I actually just received a package today from Fed Ex and i was holding my breath with all the problems i have read lately. Lucky for me everything was okay...hope someone that has had problems can chime in to help you!

this is way i dont ship Fed Ex........i will ship UPS anyday over fed ex....sorry hear about your troubles...i have had nothing but trouble with fed ex.....you should have no trouble getting your shipping fee back since its guarrenteed overnite by 10:30.....good luck

I luckily haven't had problems with FedEx, but I prefer UPS....mostly cause I'm less than 20 minutes from their world hub in Louisville :)

yes i feel you bro.. now imagine that happening to me on a 2k order..:sad: and the shipping refund is not completely true.. If they say that its a delay due to mother nature then they dont refund shipping charges either.. im thinking about cancelling my account with them too.. :neutral:

Exactly. They usually wont refund based on weather related delays. Fedex main hub is tn, but even so i cant imagine a package routed through their in your case unless they screwed up. Good luck !

I called them and said it had to be Delivered today and today only!!!!! It contains live animals and they will not make it If I have to wait another day so they said they Would do a trace and call me back... Still waiting and mad as who dun it!!!!!
Even if they try to deliver tomorrow it won't work the guy has to work and today was his only day off...:( dejeidienalanfjodkwbdismdnnd!!!!!

sorry man. both ups and fedex can and do screw up from time to time and neither will do anything to cover the cost of a live animal. they should, however, refund your shipping cost.

FedEx always drops the ball and screws up and then comes up with some "mother nature" excuse and than your screwed

The only thing you can do is tell them it's perishables and that they are "live plants" don't mention corals or your really screwed and see what they say about refunding

yea they gonna call you back and say.. ohhh its at memphis and we will see if we can get it out but 95% of the time.. its just them yapping and lying and itll get there tomorrow. :squigglemouth: sorry bro just being honest. I go through this with them on a weekly basis. i had a package that suppose to go about 4 hours away from me and they told me it was stuck somewhere in the east coast. i rarely cuss but that day i had it .. i was just #@$@#*(& @#$@#*^$&@# @#$^@#$&^ telling them that must be the stupiest thing i heard in my life. Why does a package thats 300 miles away need to fly to the east coast then back to cali?

I would love to use USPS it's within walking distance of my house but it says no liquids can be mailed... How do you get buy that??? If you say there is not and god forbid something leaks it says you pay bog heavy fines for hazmat people etc to come clean it since they don't know what it is....:(

Not to derail thread, but will just add that i ship air cargo as often as possible now. If the receiving person is ok with it and flight schedules work out i can ship fairly large amount for not much more than fedex and they get it same day(i dont get discounts at fedex or ups so costs me a lot anyway). Plus one time southwest lost the package for a day and half and they refunded full value and shipping (they wont cover weather either but you know the exact plane rout you can check weather and be assured it wont route through north dakota(or memphis)
