MH is the way to go.You have beautiful stuff. I wish I could go back to MH lights but cost is prohibitive. Chiller + Halide=$350 electric bills in California.I cant afford that. LED's have been good to me but I dont get the results you are getting. You have some of the best looking coral I have seen.

Interesting observation about the MH vs LED. I need to replace my MH fixture as the center 250 (ballast I think) is not working and have had several people tell me on another board that to stay with MH. thanks for the nice compliment.

I love using MH and get the most intense color on SPS. I may set up another tank and try using LED.

Thanks you very much.
Regarding supplements - I generally dose amino acids & sponge power a few nights a week. Water change routine is about 45 gallons per week. I had been using H2Ocean but have now switched back to Reefers Best. I had trouble getting RB for a while so I switched to H2Ocean and now had the opportunity to stock up on RB. I am always happy to answer any questions but I always seem to struggle talking in generalities about my system so if you have more questions please ask away!

I have two duncan colonies and they are quite different in both color and growth form.

misc coral pix

Can you spot the blenny?
hammer_blenny_zpsb672bd0e.jpg

Acropora Tutuilensis colony that was doing pretty well but starting to brown out due to a lack of light since I recently lost a MH balast for the light directly above it. The white spots are sand that gets blown onto it from my leopard wrasses digging in the sand.

Starting to loose patience with this coral - it seems to be a bit of a non-performer. I am trying to wait it out thinking it has potential.

Assorted tank shots at the start of the "twilight" lighting AKA lights dimming down before just the actinics kick in.
Individual pix of the tank starting from the left to the right side front pane view in approximately 3 foot sections (give or take so there is a bit of overlap)

I was just looking at a picture of the rock work from when I did my "do-over" in Nov 2013 and there is quite a contrast:
