Woot!!!! I thought I lost him but held out hope and left its dead skeleton in the tank... had dinoflags and it smotherd it. There's now a puddle at the base and 10 polyps :D there's even some turquise color! (Probably can't tell in this pic though).

Should I break away the old skeleton or leave it alone?

Doing the happy dance!!!!!

This is my first and only acro. It was absolutely amazing then dinoflagulates struck it down. The only other SPS I have are monti caps and they did well. I also lost a red monti digi.

Thank you :) Now, maybe I can keep acros and milli's after all. I love them and was VERY upset when this blue monster seemingly kicked the bucket.

Good luck and keep things stable. It'll take a while for that to kick off but once it's grown out the growth is exponential!

Thank you :) yeah, I have to get the mg down. Im thinking of using some regular IO on the next WC to bring it down a bit, then go from there. I know, nothing fast, but 1520 is super high.

Now for my shopping list... acro, or milli, hmmm maybe a stylo? lol

I just can't say how happy I am about the BM acro, it was so beautiful! And now that it's alive I know for sure it was the dinoflagulates and nothing else. I feel confident the tank will support them now :D
