Hello,
I have had these lightning bolt clove polyps for 3 weeks now and they have been doing great. I only have one polyp that has remained closed for 2 days but looks ok for the most part. It looks a little paler than the others but you can still see the polyp. The stalk is extended as well but the head isn’t opening up. I have seen my royal gramma nip at this polyp during feeding reef roids. That’s what I am leaning towards, but I wanted to reach out to see what anyone else thought.

Everything else is doing great in my tank.
Here are my parameters:
SG: 1.0255
Temp: 78
ALK: 8.0
MAG: 1380
CAL: 430
NO3: 3
PO4: .1
Lighting: Kessil A160 tuna blue at 23% max output.
15% water change weekly
No skimmer, GFO, or carbon. Just filter floss.

Question is should I just cut the one polyp or give it time?

I think the polyp is going to recover hopefully. It is opening up more and more every day. Still not fully opened. It is definitely paler than the other polyps. It had to be damage from my grammas bight. All
other polyps and corals look great.
