36 gallon bowfront with 5 gallon sump. Worried more about territorial issues than bioload.
Current inhabitants :Percula clown, Royal Gramma, Lantern bass, neon goby.
Considering a firefish or bottom dweller.

Get a goby or a blenny that perches on rock. A tailspot blenny would be perfect. Shouldn't have any aggression issues. As far as bioload goes, your biggest contributor is your lantern bass and a tailspot or similarly sized small blenny or goby isn't going to add so much that you'd need to get a bigger skimmer. Just increase size and frequency of water changes. 5-7 gallons every week.

I agree, you could prob get away with a bogy or a blenny. so many lovely kinds you're spoiled for choice!

There is a great article in the current Coral magazine. There is too much discussion about "number of fish per gallon" or "inches of fish per gallon". More thought needs to be put into what swimming environment each fish desires. Might result in less fish, but happier ones!

I recommend a bottom dwellers or perching fish. I would recommend against a firefish in the tank with those tankmates already in place.
