Hello Reef2Reef!

My first tank had it's first birthday about a week and a half ago and there is no doubt I'm hooked! The only problem is that I also hate my tank. Hate my tank as in the actual hardware of my setup (and maybe a few other things). Long story short, noob makes noob mistakes. Not enough research causes many headaches. I've tried to band aid it together, but there are shortcomings that are just too hard to overcome.

After lurking here for quite some time, I decided to take my new knowledge, and just this morning, started adding water to a new system, this time designed from the start to be a saltwater home for my fish and corals. Of course even in the few hours I've spent assembling the new system to prepare for the long cycle, I've found that I still have a million questions and I still know a fraction of what I'd like to know about this hobby!

So here I am, posting to say hello, and to say you'll probably be hearing a bit more from me as I start on a fresh adventure with my new tank. So happy to have a resource like this.

Welcome to R2R. Hope your new system goes smoothly. You’re right to take things slowly.
