I ordered some fish and they were picked up by UPS today. I just got an email saying that the package is delayed by a day meaning my fish are going to sit in bags for 2 days. I emailed the place I bought them from and tried to call UPS but had no luck getting to an operator. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or faced similar situations? Thinking the outlook for my fish is not great.

Keep checking the tracking info. One time for me UPS said it was delayed and the next day it was there.
But I did have a package lost once and arrive on the 3rd day and two fish were surprisingly still alive, but died the next day.

Just happened to me.
The place I ordered from got with deliverer & I got them the same day, but the package was not that far away.

I call them and let them know it's live animals, if it dies in their care their warehouse is going to stink of dead fish. Did this a few times and they either worked it to get it to me that day, or worked it so I could pick it up that night at a dropoff location.

If they make it to you and aren't dead get them out of the bags and into clean water asap. Skip any long acclimation. Sorry if you already know this.
I was planning this but this confirms I should do that. Thanks!
